Lets do that again!

I changed the macrame to a ball chain on the necklace instead. It looked just to heavy before. I was thinking of adding more blue wire but I didn’t want to take the focal point away from the clay component. I will be making more of them in different colors to incorporate them in earrings and bracelets. Although to tell you the truth, I’m not to keen about the ball chain either. lol

Mixing it up!!!

Mixing macrame, clay, wire and bead components, for this, just for fun summer necklace. The macrame was too tough so I’ll be going with a softer and thinner thread next time around. You never know how its going to come out  until you work with it.  Ughhhh!!! Trial and error. Trial and error!!

Whew, that’s done!

My maxie dress turned into two pieces.  I’ll be changing the crochet part on top to a thinner thread, so it won’t look so heavy. It should drop even nicer afterward. I didn’t get the A-line I wanted for the skirt. I would of have to take it all apart. It didn’t hit me until later that their was to much fabric, but that’s ok. Now I have a pattern for next year with lighter fabric. Can’t wait to make a few for next summer. So all in all, I like the way they came out. So, there it is. I hope you like it.

I do want to take a picture wearing it, but I think I’ll drop a couple of pounds first. lol  The orange blouse I made last, I wear all the time. It’s so thin and airy. I love it! Especially in this hot weather were having in Chicago.
