March coming to a close

April showers and spring flowers. That’s all I can think about. And luckily the weather is co-operating. It’s a beautiful day and I’m hoping for more to come. Although, I never look forward to Good Friday. Which will be the 1st week of April this year. For me theirs nothing good about it. I’m practically in mourning that day. For that’s the day they sacrificed my Lord. An Event that has been printed in my heart for years.
I know, I know! I should be happy for the freedom we all received from that sacrifice. But I’m not truly happy until Easter Sunday. For that’s the day my Lord rose from dead and unto Glory.
I also see this time of year as Christmas and the NewYear rolled into one. I look back at the year and see how the lord blessed me. And what things came about during that year. And I have to say I’m often pleased for my years get better and better.
Now when it comes to baking you can only whisk together frosting for as long as your hands let you. And you realize you need help. For so many years I had been wanting a KitchenAid mixer for as long as I can remember. But they were always so expensive and I just couldn’t afford it. But this year, I cried out and said ‘I just can’t do this any more’. It was just getting harder and harder to mix so many things and often scared I would break my hand mixer.
So this year I was so determined to spend my whole income taxs return if I had to on buying a mixer. All I kept saying ‘I’m getting one regardless of the cost’. I just didn’t care. And lo and behold After my return I bought one at such a reasonable prize on Amazon.com and a cookiepress as well.
Now mixing batters and frosting together and throwing them in the oven is a breeze. And I’m always thankful to my Lord for hearing my small cry.wpid-img_20150325_125817158.jpg

  • I got a KitchenAid mixer about two years ago. I named him Bob. It makes things so much easier. I love my Bob! I wanted to get a teal or purple one, but the place I got mine only had the bland colors. I got it at Khol’s. It was on sale for like half off or something like that and I had a coupon of some sort. I got out with one really cheap!
